Part Time & Full Time Cleaners Required

Are you looking for a career in cleaning? Then you may have found the perfect job for you!

At The Little Cottage Cleaning Company we take our work very seriously. We offer an exceptional cleaning service to our clients and give our staff the best training, equipment and salary package to achieve this. We don't see cleaning as 'just a job' but as a career where our staff can learn, grow and be promoted for doing well and being the best!

We currently have vacancies for two honest, reliable and hard working people to join us as a full time cleaner, or part time cleaner, working in domestic and commercial environments across multiple sites, either 15 hours or 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. No weekend or Bank Holiday working.

You will receive intense training before starting your role. After that, ongoing training is provided whilst you settle into your new role with progression available for the right people.

To ensure we attract and keep the BEST staff we offer a great hourly rate starting for owner/drivers at £9.75 per hour which increases to £10 per hour with service. For those who don't drive, or those who choose to drive one of our all electric vehicles, the rate is £9.50 per hour increasing with service.

You will work between 15 hours (part time) or 35 hours (full time) average per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday. These are permanent positions with great prospects.

Unlike other cleaning companies, we don't ask our staff to work on a self employed basis or on zero hour contracts. In fact, we pride ourselves on being an industry leader on the package we offer and are accredited by The Real Living Wage Foundation so you can be sure you're paid correctly for the work you do.

These roles are permanent, employed roles and we pay you for every hour you work, including the travel time between clients. Add to that we offer a company pension scheme, subsidised BUPA cover and 28 days paid annual leave (including Bank Holidays) you wont find a better offer elsewhere!

We are VERY STRICT on who we employ and only want the BEST people. You will be asked to go through a test and interview process as part of our selection. Only those who are serious about a career in cleaning, who have the right attitude and best skill set will be selected to join us.

Once you have passed our rigorous selection process you will work alone, and alongside other cleaners, within a domestic or commercial setting carrying out cleaning using Eco-Friendly, Biodegradable and microfiber products. You will also be asked to work on deep cleaning and specialist cleaning projects.

All successful applicants are required to provide a current DBS certificate or be willing to undergo a DBS check on appointment to post.

To help you progress in your career with us, everyone has a training and development plan with regular reviews. We will give you the right encouragement and tools so you can progress if you want to. This means with the right input you could become a Cleaning Lead, Cleaning Supervisor or Manager with the salary and package to match !

Please note due to the high volume we receive we will only contact applicants who pass our initial screening of CVs. All positions are subject to satisfactory references and DBS checks.
